A maintenance schedule has a dozen or more items: tire rotation, brake fluid, coolant, spark plugs, filters, the timing belt. Each car now has a service schedule that holds all of them, each with an interval in miles, months or both.
Once an item has a last-done mileage or date, it counts down and reads On schedule, Coming up, Due or Overdue. Log the work and the item's countdown restarts. To skip typing a whole schedule, tap Add the starter schedule. Its intervals are estimates and are marked that way, so check each one against your owner's manual.
The weekly email checks the whole schedule, so a brake fluid flush gets the same notice as an oil change.
