Until then the item leaves the garage's status and the weekly email, and it keeps its countdown, so you can still see where it stands. To bring it back sooner, pick Remind me now.
Long-life items such as spark plugs and the timing belt now read Due no more than one oil change ahead, not months early. Before that they read Coming up.
